There is a Sherlock Holmes story with a deduction so famous it has become a cliche among mystery writers: the dog that didn't bark in the night. Sometimes a dog's not barking speaks louder than its bark.

People are calling for a response, a revision, someone to fall on their sword, someone to take up the sword ...

The Giants committee has not been and is not inactive. If we are to do any of those things (or any other things) we feel a responsibility to do them in the best way possible. That takes time. You may measure the sincerity and perspicacity of those chiming in by their patience.
