Thanks for posting these interesting positions involving 3s.

I've had a quick look at them for commonalities and the only thing so far that has jumped out at me is unstacking a heavy 6 (of course). Maybe plus hitting / pointing in the outfield. Maybe plus making an advanced anchor.

To help me get a feel of how often I might have to apply this, can anyone approximate how often making the 3 is better than making the 5 (given the option of both)?

Is it in the ballpark of..

0.01% 0.1% 1% 5% 10% 25% 50%
