Comments on the Covlin Story

I trust the USBGF board's judgment on this matter.

I did not see Bill's original post as passing judgment. I believe he was stating what he thought were best for the USBGF and for Rod. Obviously there is disagreement as to whether or not what he advised is best for all parties, but I believe that is what motivated his post.

His suggestion to me sounded similar to the situation in most police jurisdictions where if in the line of duty an officer shoots someone, he is usually placed on administrative assignment, or "desk duty", pending the outcome of an investigation.
