So do you think it is OK for a player to pick up the dice while thinking about his play when using a clock?

What happens if he sets them down on a different number? Of course one would expect him to lose any ruling in regards to what was rolled....but ...

Anyhow...common sense must prevail and if a player forgets that he's playing with a clock and grabs the dice and puts them into his cup or even close to his cup it certainly is clear that he intended to end his turn.

His turn should be OVER ..PERIOD.
