I would greatly enjoy this match. I'm sure my good friend David could teach Stick a thing or two - most notably how the young guns of backgammon inevitably turn into old married guys.

It's not clear to me whether Stick's motivation in this match is supposed to be (1) winning the money, or (2) playing with a super-low PR to prove he is not a cheater. Presumably the first is the actual goal (since money is nice), but playing to win and playing to emulate XGR+ are not necessarily the same thing. In a match between world-class players, I wonder how much of a difference there is.
