Headphones while playing in live BG tournaments

In Response To: Headphones while playing in live BG tournaments (Stick)

How can we decide what does not come through the headphones? Do we ask to listen in to it, in between games say? And they won't go ballistic, of course, if we do.

I don't know how these devices work, Ipods or whatever, so could not check without listening myself (or asking staff to).
