So… something external to you aid your play. Helps you concentrate? Focus better?

Aural steroids in a some minor sense? A mechanical aid of sorts?

What do your opponents get to do / use that gives them an equal benefit?

I'm half serious here. I'm ok with it because I am. But why should you get an aid that helps you play better than you normally would against your opponent?
