My position on Legal Moves

I just wanted to add one point I keep forgetting to make:

There are so many opportunities to play backgammon available for most of us (local tournaments, local chouettes, on line play, informal meet ups with friends, and out of town tournaments).

Also, we are all constrained by time, priorities, and money.

Personally, I have more backgammon opportunities than I can possibly take advantage of. Many of us are also in this position.

So why would I go out of my way to travel around the US or World seeking out more backgammon, especially if I am not comfortable with the tournament rules?

I don't think I am the "Lone Ranger" as far as this goes.
