Kit's 1996 World Cup game

Here is a game from the 1996 World Cup, in which Kit Woolsey purposely made an inferior play to lengthen the game because his opponent was low on time. The ploy worked and his opponent eventually timed out.
This tournament was run using simple chess clocks. (Clocks with a "delay" feature were hard to find in those days.) Running low on time when you don't have a delay is really dangerous because every turn subtracts more time.
