Is XG violating GNUBG GPL?

While rereading this thread, I came across this: " Jack is talking about a case in which he really has no standing. (For our Southern friends, he really has no dog in this hunt)"
This is the only thing true and of any value in your post but it's difficult to separate from the rest of your insider/incestuous/same-sex/etc. jokes or whatever they are supposed to be... :(
Here, up north, we say "not having a dog in the fight" and that's is exactly why I had said that I would buy a licensed copy of XG so that I could make a request for its source code because then "I would have a dog in the hunt" or "have a standing" just in case this thing goes to a court of law.
By the same token, anyone who already has a paid copy of XG has the legal right to ask Xavier to provide them with the source code by any acceptable means (such as downloading it from a certain server), but we do know that none of you/all will. Don't we...? ;)
