That is why I also made the point that the USBGF did not come away with any additional value as a result of this donation. A political campaign that spent the money is deriving actual value from that spend. Additionally, donations are generally discretionary, for the recipient to use as they wish. This, however, was targeted for very specific purpose at a specific time and Tom could have simply made the check out to Bill Davis, we'd be in exactly the same place and we'd not be questioning where his money is. The USBGF derived zero value out of that donation. Appraise the ABT and tell me that it is worth anything more than what the USBGF paid out of pocket and maybe there'd be a case for a reimbursement. I have no doubt that you'd find that we've actually taken a loss on paper because this acquisition occurred. We were prepared to absorb that loss as an investment in the future - not an additional loss of $5k on top of that. Tom decided without any prodding from the USBGF that it was ok to lose that additional $5k, not the USBGF.
