Hi Paul,

I reviewed some of the posts from the player you had in mind and couldn't find anything to suggest he felt it was bad sportsmanship to intentionally complicate a game when his opponent was short on time. For example, he wrote:

Basically, IMO, anyone that uses up almost all of their clock is doing so intentionally, (ala UBK), or wasting time in a variety of ways.

This player is actually a big proponent of clocked backgammon.
