You say that, as a Libertarian, you are going against the grain in advocating legislating away stupidity for the greater good. As a fellow Libertarian I agree that, on balance, such a rule change is desirable.

But, as has been pointed out on these forums, there may be those rare individuals for whom - stopping them offering their opponent a 'dead' cube - prevents, not stupidity on their part, but actually the exercising of very fine judgement!
