Post Crawford, the leader, having been doubled, reaches a position where he realises he is mathematically certain to win the game; his opponent may not yet have ascertained this. The leader subsequently redoubles. Instead of merely snatching the cube, the trailer looks at the board again and now realises it is indeed impossible to win (with legal and correct plays by both sides). Instead of conceding the match, he passes the recube.

I hope that's acceptable!
