Introducing Myself

Let's really define the issue here.

I am the backgammon "new kid on the block", but I have actually been around for awhile. I played games in my youth before backgammon. Throughout the 80s, 90s, 00s, and up to 2014, I have never once seen kids gambling on backgammon.

Despite the fact that backgammon takes up 99% of my life, in the sum total of my life, I have seen more dollars exchange hands when kids play chess, UNO, and Magic: The Gathering than when they play backgammon (and the sum total of those games I have witnessed throughout my lifetime might be under $100).

This simply isn't a widespread problem where kids are throwing away their allowance and becoming degenerates. So, let's rephrase it to what this is actually saying:

Players who are under 18 should be barred from entering adult tournaments.

Does this actually sound like a good thing to you?
