Backgammon variant with slightly non-random dice

Ok. I see the 55 and 66 example was about speeding up the game instead of simplifying it. I grant that in that rare situation a few seconds could be saved given that the player is confident in his memory. In general though I still think the game will not go faster for the reasons I said.
