I am surprised that it would not be particularly appealing to you.

Where did I suggest that I wouldn't find it interesting? All I was telling Koca is that someone would probably come up with a system to facilitate what cards have been played. (dice have been rolled) I'd have no problem doing it for a lot of the reasons you mentioned, blackjack counting, Hearts, gin, bg, chess, etc...

I'm not sure if you saw the Magnus Carlsen interview from maybe 6 months ago but he was showing off naming where a certain position was from, the year, the tournament, a bunch of info that was more or less useless. Recalculating would be the fun part. That along with the variant with 3 dice would have Xavier creating a new bot in no time.
