Under-resigning and the PAF Backgammon London Open Online 2013

The PAF Backgammon London Open online was contested tonight by 73 players from around the world.

It was a free entry tournament with E500 in prize monies. First prize was Euro200 - not bad for a free roll.

The tournament was won by BMWX55 - the video of the final is available here:

Some slight controversy at 4:55 as BMWX55 tries to under-resign. Is this ethical? Should it be allowed? As it transpired, fortunately for BMWX55, his opponent refused the single win but them went onto lose the game...
