Henrik:

1. My parents were born in Europe (Norway and Germany), but I have lived my entire life in the U.S. I was born in Massachusetts and currently live in North Carolina.

2. As a result of feedback on this BGO forum and emails, I have added clarifying statements to my proposal. It can be seen at http://home.roadrunner.com/~kenlarsen/bgWorldRankingProposal.htm The first paragraph lists three benefits of a ranking system.

3. My original goal was to address a sandbagging issue that I believe exists at ABT events.

4. Recently the Giants voting began, so I felt inclined to share my project and data via BGO.

5. It likely will be a long time before any system can be rolled out worldwide, because I'd have to identify all the worldwide tour directors and examine their points systems and derive ways to convert their points to ABT points or vice versa. I've started doing this at the bottom of http://home.roadrunner.com/~kenlarsen/bgWorldRankingProposal2.htm

6. I welcome constructive feedback.
