Henrik, I think your clock analogy is too far fetched. Clocks and baffle boxes are two completely different things and serve completely different purposes. I'm all in favor of mandatory use of clocks in any intellectual competition, including backgammon.

Having observed use of baffle boxes in numerous videos posted by USBGF I believe that baffle boxes create MORE re-rolls than cups.
