With 2 on the roof against a 5-point board, I was asked if I want to double in the position below. My answer is, "No."

In order to eliminate positions such as this one, you could try filtering out the decisions that are not close. Doubling here is a quadruple whopper, so even if you set the threshold at 0.1, you could have eliminated it. One thing you will find, however, is that close does not mean interesting.

Perhaps you could let users vote to get rid of certain positions. Even better might be to automatically drop the positions that no one ever misses.
