Crossover and Then Diversify in the Outfield
This is a bear-in situation very similar to the one Matt posted. GnuBg’s Grandmaster setting finds the right play. The 3-ply analysis at BgTrain.com does not.
The narrow filter used in a 3-ply analysis does not pick up the best move, and the 2-ply analysis it gets at BgTrain has it trailing by 0.027.
