Bill's claim was not that the best humans would beat Rainman. They would not. His claim is that the best humans would outdo Rainman in tournament success against a field of human competition.

I don't happen to agree, but the idea that a top human would have greater success against a school of fish than a bot is not farfetched at all. The problem as I see it is that we are not talking WC human in a 32 player beginners bracket. It is WC human against Open players, a great many of whom are not fish at all.
