The problem with the situation which Matt knows (or feels) and that is clearly lacking from statements such as If you know that it really is a pass, then you should hope he takes, (i.e. makes a cube error.) is not only is his cube decision going to be close regardless, as in he can make no real mistake, but by cubing MCG has allowed his opponent to forgo all future errors if the match was played out.

Which one weighs in heavier, Eli's immediate possible t/p error which I think we've sufficiently shown as a wash or the difference in all future checker play errors if MCG doesn't cube and the match is extended? Seems clear to me, ND.
