Since it keeps coming up, let me clarify why I did not play in the Dual Duel.

I had to work. It had absolutely nothing to do with negative EV, image management or ducking anyone. I played both Mochy and Matt for 100 or more a point on several occasions. Matt and I regularly play for money of Gridgammon, and our PR's are out there for anyone to see. I also give the results of all my recorded matches to Dmitriy, who posts them. I think that it is absurd for Rod or Ray or anyone else to imply that I am somehow afraid to play with the top players.

Having said that, I estimate that Mochy is about 1 pr better than I am. I think that would make him about 75% to beat me in the PR portion of the tournament. I know that I would take 4-1 odds in a given match, if anyone wants to lay that.
