What exactly are you testing?

There maybe a bigger problem or confusion because of terminology, in that “precision” has become a generic/marketing term for all engineered dice and not all precision dice are created equal or are as precise! The main difference in edge types of dice are for the intended use and purpose. (razor & square for stopping, balled for bounce & rolling, feathered & rounded for comfortable handling) Its the quality standard and uniformity tolerances used in their manufacture and finishing, NOT THE EDGE SHAPE that determines the randomness!
Furthermore, there ARE quite a number of manufacturers that DO CLAIM (such as Midwest Game Supply Co -the USA’s largest casino dice maker-, Chessex, GameScience & Koplow Games, to name a few) that their razor & ball-edged regular (d6) and polyhedral precision dice product lines are produced, (see my other post) tested and certified to meet or exceed, the stringent (primarily Nevada Gaming Commission) casino specs & standards!
Granted, none of the companies make the same quality or their lower grade rounded, square or feathered edge dice and it stands to figure those “rounded” dice will be more biased than casino dice. (though unless you gaffing them intentionally, it would be quite a chore to figure out for what number, AND then take advantage of that)
You may want to check the type of dice your testing, from what I’ve seen, the vast majority of tournament players buy and are using modern ball-edged acetate “precision” dice that ARE manufactured to give you as random and fair a roll as I get in a casino!
Bottom Line: Assuming electronic RNG dice rollers can/will give an equal (or better?) random/fair roll than casino standards, I can see the potential benefits in certain situations. However, basing that “benefit” on the supposed fact, my precision dice aren’t, isn’t one of them.
