Backgammon Dice are NEVER precision dice

I didn't ask if you were willing to play with other players dice; I asked specifically whether you would use their opaque dice, including those - by far the most common that are in use - without serial numbers and certification. Because if you are, that is certainly inconsistent with your stated stance on dice apps:
"I will never, ever want to play with an electron app that you or anyone else brings to a game. The opportunities for it to be 'fixed' in some way is just so plainly easy to imagine."
It should be clear that the opportunities to introduce weighted opaque dice are just as easy to imagine.
And in no way am I 'inviting you to be afraid of people with bad eyesight'. It is you who raised the spectre of mistrust, with your stance on dice apps. All I've tried to do is establish whether you have any consistency with this distrustful approach, and to consider being consistent if you aren't.
The main point about the thread is actually not about trust in players, but rather the accuracy, or otherwise, of ball-cornered precision dice, and of how this compares with electronic ones.
