Not true. This is very simple and in effect, Alex has already answered this. The reason to exclude pros from play is not to protect them from the bots, but to protect the bots from them. The bot cannot expect to make a profit playing pros, particularly after the rake. And since Alex was responsible for the financial losses of the bots, why would he want to have them play against players that it is known will result in a net loss?

GamesGrid had bots that played for money. But they did it out in the open, clearly giving the bots nicks that included the word "bot", giving them a special "bot" icon, informing the public which bot played at which GNU ply, and informing the public what person was financially backing the bots. All the information was right there for all to see, fully transparent on the bot's player profiles. Yet despite all of this information, people would play the bots for money. And there's nothing at all wrong with that.

That is how it should be done at P65 if it is felt that bots are good for the site.
