Well, I suspect that you run your LC's with perfectly skewed bye distribution, in order to start all matches in the first round?

If so, doesn't that increase the chance of this happening? In the example of Carter, wouldn't he have had just two byes instead of 3, had you distributed byes evenly?

In fact, there's a much higher chance of a double-bye, if just one person forfeits, when using the perfectly skewed bye distribution, compared to the opposite. Unless you have like 31-33 players, but it will always be the same or worse.
