Exactly. Evening out the draw will make the better players favorites in the tournament.

That is what a lot of people are asking for in these discussions, but maybe not what they want ;-)

I regret having brought up the subject of seeding - it was not to derail the discussion. And I would like to comment, that I'm not "pro seeding" (he he) in regular tournaments, only in certain trophy championships. In DBgF seeding is only used in a very few tournaments: The Danish Championships, The National Team Cup Tournament, The XG Masters, and in a couple of other tournaments where players are broken into qualifier pools. The vast majority of tournaments are run without seeding, like it probably should be.
