I don't think this is the best way to do it

Even if playing solely for PR reasons you don't always make what you think is the best play
I can think of one case immediately when that is true and which also is not your best attempt to win the game in another way.
That case is when you choose to double a little early in a relatively stable position when you are on the cusp of a double, one when a difficult double/no double decision could technically come up several rolls in a row. Rather than risk making repeated errors in not doubling when you should you could play for PR and double a little early and sacrifice a little equity now to avoid a possible string of missed double equity losses.
The issue could arise that you choose to do that for PR reasons when you happen to be playing an opponent you know very well and who you also know (from years of playing together probably) loves to take too late in similar positions. If playing the opponent, then why would you double early, when doubling a little later is less risky and will probably still be ok to get a Take anyway?
This situation is a little compromising, but how big a problem is this or other similar situations going to be? Some are arguing that it is, I don't agree with that.
