Going 4-0 is impressive, but so is 5-1. The extra win must count for something, even if you don't think it offsets the loss sufficiently to call the two accomplishments equal. I think that requiring the player in the Fighters Bracket to go 6-1 before you call things equal, and settle the affair with one final match, overcompensates, giving too much of an edge to the player coming through the Main Flight. In fact, after going 6-1, things are not equal. At that point, the player coming from the Main Flight has the inferior record of 5-1.
