In Response To: Ohio State ABT Results/and a question (Chris Yep)

Bill had to win so many matches because he lost early (2nd round) in the Main.

Is this (effectively) a requirement of progressive 2nd chance? I.e. the number of matches one needs to play in order to win the bracket is dependent upon where you enter the bracket, with early arrivals being the ones with more matches (in the case someone has to play more matches than someone else)?
