I agree with Phil about the dice. I would even take it further and have the whole board be electronic so that no checker shuffling or illegal moves could be made. Just have a tablet that has a Gridgammon-like game on it that could be accessed from either side. At the end of the game, the outcome could be automatgically downloaded into XG for analysis.

Of course, Phil might want to sell his inventory of boards before endorsing this solution.
