Touch Move rule, wording

Let's assume I roll 6-4 and want to look at the play 13/7 11/7. Under current rules, I would probably move a checker from 13 to 7, release it, move a checker from 11 to 7, and then look at the position. Under touch-move I couldn't do that, and if I move from 13 to 7 and leave my hand on the checker I'm not allowed to fetch the checker from 11 with my other hand. So instead I have to do something like bring the checker from 13 to 11, pick up a second checker with that hand, and move both checkers to the 7.

By my proposed wording, if you roll 64 and touch a checker on the 13pt, you are committed to playing 13/7 or 13/9 with it. Once you play 13/7 and release your hand, that portion of the move is committed and you have a 4 to play.

If you touch the 13pt checker and then "collect" the 11pt checker, you are committed either to 13/7 11/7 or 13/9 11/5.
