FYI__ the American Cribbage Congress (governing body) --basically pays 25% of the field. Therefore in a bracket of 16, 4 would be paid. Their big annual event has a bracket of 1,024 and pays the top 256 players.

Typically I, as a bg-TD, payout 4 places in a 32 bracket. But in my OPEN field, perhaps 50-60 players in a Double-elimination & Progressive Consolation, I pay out 7 places.

TO pay deeper, which I would like to do, we would have to rework the charts or have those deeper positions occur in the Consolation (e.g. Three [3] paid in Main/2ndChance and eight [8] paid in the consolation. Roughly 18% deep overall.

I'll work on it for my December event and see if it can work out. ______________patrick (the MFIC)
