Masters events - What???

I do not think this a reason for but take a recent tourney in Tampa. The after tourney was a handicapped event. In a seven point match I either started out losing 0-1 or 0-2. How would this be calculated with ELO. It is simply not really fair from an ELO standpoint. Communication with TD's would also have to be great so as to not exclude an event. When the ratings started the covered events of the Main and the Main jackpots was the best way to go.

Of course all data is good but small blitzes or 4 ways are not taken as seriously. There are often time consideration and people split the pot and play a short 1 or 3 pointer. This is hard to document for the minor side events.
