I don't think I am owed anything by someone recording a match. But I do think it should be at least common courtesy to send your opponents whatever you have transcribed.

And it would also be nice for a player who is interested in receiving a transcription to offer to do some of the work. Or even do the whole thing themself if the player who recorded the match doesn't have time.

Also video files should be easily available.

Maybe tournaments can help with this. There could be a computer available where those who record matches could download their video files. Then any player who wants copies of their matches that others have recorded could bring a USB drive to the tournament and upload the video files onto it before they leave.
