" The difference between the final result of the match was the output that I used in my study. For instance, If X beat Y by 11-8, the output is +3. On the other hand, If M is beaten by N by 3-9, the output was -6 (min match length was 7pt)"

I disagree entirely with that metric. In tournament backgammon one either wins a match or loses it.
