I am sure you are right...tournaments in Europe are doing well. But are we attracting as many new players to the game as we could? Do you see a lot of young people taking up backgammon in Europe? I don't. Even if it is "great," couldn't it be better?

I've been to tournaments around the world...they would all be "better" if there were twice as many players; if there were sponsors; if the viewing audience for streamed and recorded matches were in the thousands or tens of thousands instead of hundreds.

I like the saying: "Good is the enemy of better."
