I assume that no one is shaking the dice when the other is thinking?! And if it goes pick up dice, rattles a bit, stops and cubes, opp takes and then you roll, I think the dice were not shaken that turn, so the roll should not count (every turn is supposed to be either a cube decision or a dice shake, roll move, hit clock sequence).

So unless the taker of the cube is extremely slow in moving towards the clock after the take decision, you cannot properly shake the dice and roll before the taker presses the button. That is why I thought no proper dice shake before the roll.

Maybe I am missing a possible scenario though or my interpretation of the rules may be off. I am 'easy' in actual play, but if I would need to give a ruling, this would be my thinking.
