In Response To: The next major revolution in backgammon bots (Bob Koca)

Well Tim's approach is to exploit weaknesses of their opponents to enlarge the equity. Called it another way it's making the Emmanuel Lasker of BG.

Although I like the approach and exactly this (studying an opponent to find weaknesses) was the reason that BGBlitz has a match database, I assue that it is very difficult for a bot to analyse it and exploit it. Much more difficult than adopting play against a weaker opponent.
