In Response To: A difference in the rules--what's your take (Stick)

What if you're playing with a clock and the opponent momentarily forgets about the clock and picks up his dice.

You point out that he needs to press the clock to finish his turn.

He then realizes a better play, so he changes his play before finally pressing the clock.

What would you rule here?

(I would be inclined to say his first move stands because his intention of picking up the dice was to finish his turn)
