In Response To: Reminded again last night why I HATE non-Legal Moves (Michael Crane)

This is one of my favorite BG stories and it happened to me, playing quickly for money in a rather dark corner of a La Jolla, CA bar/restaurant about 25 years ago. My opponent was a real stickler for the "rules" so after I played 5/4x/bar placing my checker on the bar, it never crossed my mind to ask for a reprieve.

He said, "Nice play, Neil" and handed me back the cube on 4 which I took since it is clear. The joke was on him when as soon as he later cleared his 6 pt, I entered with boxes and then could cash!
