Hedge/settlement for non-bye loser?

I have been differentiating between formal and informal compensation. Since we arranged the compensation among ourselves, it shouldn't affect the ABT any more than if two of us had hedged in the third round, or exchanged shares of ourselves before the first round.

I think we are in agreement that if the financial compensation to the non-bye loser is formally pre-arranged, then the ABT points should proportionately follow, since the ABT points normally do track with the money in ABT tournaments.
