Very interesting approach.

However, I think the author did a great disservice to his own work by choosing the appendix examples at random. The examples should not just be there to illustrate the mechanics of the algorithm...they should be chosen to highlight the strengths of the new approach.

There should be examples where the alternate approaches (Thorp, Keith, Matussek, etc) break down but Isight succeeds. There should be examples from match play to illustrate the power of directly estimating GWC.

Instead, we get examples like Figure 5 that shows a trivial no double (where Isight is off by 9%) and also Figure 8 which anyone can calculate exactly in less effort than it takes to use any heuristic.
