Hi Grant,

it is a numbers game. The total error of my method for the database was simply smaller when I used 76 % instead of, say, 75 % or 77 %. The theoretical reason for this might be that, as Bob already wrote, the percentages decrease for shorter races, e.g. in a last roll situation you will double with much less CPW than 68 %.
