The following structure could lead to more entries in ABT open events;

$240 (after director's cut) entry fee for all, distributed as follows:

For all players that have played in fewer than 15 ABT events: $80 goes into Pool A, one that is comprised of similarly experienced players; $80 goes into Pool B, one that is is comprised of the same group plus all players that have played in 15 or more ABT events and have never been listed as a top 32 Giant; $80 goes into a Pool C, which includes everyone.

For all Players that have played in 15 or more ABT events and have never been listed as a top 32 Giant; $80 goes into Pool B, the one that includes them and the inexperienced group; $160 goes into the Pool C, the one that includes everyone.

For all players that have been listed as top 32 giants; all $240 goes into Pool C, the that includes everyone.

The following payoff conditions would apply: Players in Pool A would receive 100% of any prize moneys they win in Pool A or Pool B, but would receive 1/3 of the prize money should they cash in Pool C, since they only put up 1/3 of the entry into it. A player from the middle group, the experienced non-Giants, would receive all of the prize money should they cash in Pool B, but would receive only 2/3's of the prize money should they cash in Pool C, since they only put up 2/3 of the entry fee. Any giant that cashed in Pool C would receive 100% of the prize, since they put up 100% of the entry fee. Unpaid prize money would move down the ladder, until all is distributed, using the same guidelines. For example, if a giant finished second to a newbie, the newbie would get all of the 1st place prize money for Pool A, all of the 1st place prize money for Pool B, and 1/3 of the 1st place prize money for the 1st place prize money for Pool C. The giant would get the remaining 2/3 of the 1st place prize money from Pool C and 1/3 of the 2nd place prize money from Pool C.

The incentive to newbies is that 1/3 of their entry fee is put into a pool of similarly skilled players and 1/3 is put into a pool of them and the more experienced non-giants, while only 1/3 goes into the pool with the giants. The incentive to the experienced non-giants is that 1/3 of their entry fee goes into a pool comprised of them and newbies. The incentive to the giants is more players entering and, potentially, tournaments thriving and prize money increasing.
