Away scoring at tournaments.... Illegal

In Response To: Away scoring — Actions speak louder than words (Phil Simborg)

I think a number of people on this thread have agreed tht noting away scoring constitutes an aid and is therefore not allowed within current rules.

It is used to make you calculations of match equity easier, albeit only slightly.

You should stop doing it or discuss a rule change that allows for it.

The act of writing away scoring is actually using pen an paper to make a calculation. It is a small one but is a calculation nonetheless.
