I am a keen student of backgammon and trying to improve my game. I came across the BGO forum a few weeks ago and I am finding it a great resource for getting deeper into the game, however, I do find the Nactation a bit intimidating*, but I can see from this thread that Nactation is valued greatly by some.

*I should clarify, when I see a thread title like "53P-32S-52H-65 — UG and –4–8 — 3-ply XG2 Rollouts" my first feeling is that I am out of my depth and do I really want to look at it, but when I read the post it is not confusing. The title is just describing how it got to the position.
